In New York state, you must first submit an application to receive an absentee ballot. Deadline for requesting an absentee ballot is October 23, 2023. You can obtain an application by:

Calling the Board of Elections absentee department 585-753-1509 and asking to have an application mailed to you
Writing to the Board of Elections at 39 West Main St., Rochester, NY 14614 and asking to have an application mailed to you
Early Voting is available to all voters in Monroe County. Voters can choose to vote at any of the 14 sites in the county. Early voting starts Saturday, October 28th. The last day to vote early is Sunday, November 5th.

Polls open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
There are multiple polling locations in Penfield for residents to vote. The Monroe County Board of Elections sends out notices to all registered voters advising each voter of their polling place.
